  • The first presenter must be a Regular or Overseas Member.
  • When registering for a research presentation, you will be asked to submit a presentation title and an abstract of approximately 150 words.
  • Oral (English, Chinese, and Japanese) and poster (English) presentations will be given. Please refer to the bottom of the page for presentation time, poster size, etc.
  • Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline. Abstracts should be written in the language of the presentation.
  • A Certificate of Presentation will be issued to those whose presentations are confirmed.
  • The number of presentations is limited. If we receive a large number of applications, we may ask you to change your presentation type.

  1.  The first presenter must be a regular member or an overseas member of IAECE.
  2. Presentation applications must be submitted by May 10 30, 2024, via the “Apply for Participation/Presentation” link on the special website(https://45th-conference.iaece/en/home-english/).
  3. Payment of the 2023 dues and conference registration fee must be received by July 31, 2023.
  4. If the person presenting is a new member, he/she must complete the admission process by July 31.
  5. Abstracts must be submitted during the abstract submission period, Monday, July 1 through Sunday, July 21, according to the abstract preparation instructions(.word, .pdf) posted on the conference website. Registration procedures will be announced soon. Manuscripts must be submitted in PDF format and must be two A4 pages in length.
  6. Papers must be unpublished at the time of presentation at the conference. Research that has already been published in print (journals, bulletins, monographs, magazines, etc.) cannot be presented at the conference.
  7. The maximum number of presentations is three, including joint presentations, regardless of presentation format (however, the first author presenter is limited to one presentation).
  8.  If you do not present, you cannot claim to have done so.

(1) Oral presentations

Language: English, Chinese, Japanese

Presentation time: 15 minutes for research presentation and 10 minutes for questions per presentation. Under the guidance of the chair, after the oral presentations and, Q&A, there will be general discussion.

Details of the presentation venue will be posted in the program at a later date (to be released around the end of August).

Windows PCs will be available in the presentation rooms. If you wish to use your own PC for your presentation, please bring your own conversion adapter, as it will be connected to the projector via an HDMI cable.

(1) Oral presentations

Poster size: Approximately A0 (1180mm x 841mm). You may use printed PowerPoint slides, or similar materials, and paste them onto your poster, but please ensure everything fits within the provided panel dimensions (1800mm x 1200mm).

Language of presentation: English Time limit: 45 minutes (If you are not present, your presentation may be canceled.


  1. Please register for the 45th Annual Meeting on the special website”Registration”.
  2. All conference participants must register. Presentation Registration should be done by all conference participants and “Presentation Registration” should be done by the first presenter only. A registration completion email will be sent automatically when the registration is completed.
  3. An automatic email will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. After the on-site registration is completed  on the day of the conference, you will be able to download your certificate of participation from this email.
